    I'm Pedro 21years old and I'm from Portugal. I found LDF when I was looking information about Delta second series (1998-2000). I'm wondering to buy a Delta [SM=g27823]

    I'm wondering to buy a Delta of 1998-2000, 1.6 benzina. At the moment, I'm looking info about motor, fuel consumption, normal problems. If It's good to convert LPG.

    There are very much exemplars with this engine,the owners on the forum are enthusiast,it's worth to convert LPG because old gasoline lancia models aren't low with fuel consumption.

    the engine hasn't much problems it's very affordable!

    Guimpa83, I'm happy to hear that. In Portugal, we don't have much Delta II (serie of 98-00) that's why I'm asking about engine. What are the common problems of this model?

    This engine hasn't got problems,it's very affordable...

    other owners never complained about anything with many miles.

    it isn't a complex engine with sensor,electronics or similar.

    the engines with a lot of problems are 2.0 litre turbo and 1.9 litre TURBO DIESEL.

    1600 8V,16V and 1800 8V,16V are indestructible and have no problems like many italian engines.
